South African Rusks



As a fun way to really connect to South Africa we have decided to make one of their traditional foods. It is called South African Rusks.
The recipe includes:
* 2 cups white flour
* 2 cups whole wheat flour
* 1/3 cup sugar
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1/2 cup melted butter
* 2 eggs
* 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
* 2 tsp vanilla
